Before you begin, review our 6 step plan as a guide for a great project.
Don't forget to take pictures throughout the process.
Have your child decide on an activity they would like to try. Gather all the supplies that you will need for the project.
Next, make a plan for how you would like your project to be completed. What will you do first, second, third ect. What can you do if you run into a building challenge?
Start building and make adjustments along the way.
Are all the parts of your project working together? Do you need to change or adjust anything? Make those adjustments now.
Show your creation to your friends and family. What do they think? Do they have questions? Suggestions? Take notes.
Make any adjustments based on feedback to improve your project.
Cut out the challenges, place in a jar.
At school: Each day a student grabs a challenge for the class to complete! Once finished, have them write about it in their journals or talk about what they did or how they can make changes.
At home: Use these as fun family challenges over the break.
